Special Exhibition: The Catskills
Dedicated to Corey Matthew Garber 1983 - 2006
The series is the result of my time as an artist-in-residence at Platte Clove outside of Tannersville, NY in the Catskills. The residency sponsored by (and with special thanks to) the Erpf Center, Arkville, NY provides lodging in their little red cabin in the woods. The paintings in this series are from my photographs or in some cases painted from life during my time spent there, including trips throughout the Catskill region.
The series is dedicated to my friend Corey who passed away while I was in residence.
